There are many species of dwarf hamster, but they all share a love of burrowing and, due to their size, the ability to potentially escape from homes designed for their larger relative the Syrian hamster.
The abode's solid coloured, deep base allows pets to burrow in their litter and helps to make them feel more secure. The wire top provides ventilation and has 5mm bar spacing so it's escape proof even with younger pets.
The upper mezzanine can be used for much loved sand baths (simply fill with 'chinchilla' sand) and a solid wheel allows pets to 'stretch' their legs!
