Miracle-Gro Quick Grow Lawn Seed is a specialist grass seed mix designed to deliver super-fast germination, with first shoots appearing in as little as 4 days (in ideal conditions). It continues to grow and thicken over time, creating a dense, healthy, green lawn.

Ideal for new lawns, over seeding existing lawns, or repairing bare patches quickly.

When to use:

  • Apply from March to early October.
  • Sow once the risk of frost has passed.

How much to use:

  • A lawn measuring 7m x 4m = 28m2
  • A lawn with 3 standard fence panels (1.82m wide) = 30m2

How to use:

  1. Prepare the ground.
  • Rake to remove weeds, stones, and dead grass.
  • Level and firm the soil.
  • For over-seeding, mow grass short first.
  1. Sow the seed.
  • Shake the box to mix seeds.
  • Use the built-in sprinkler to sow half the seed left to right, then rest top to bottom.
  • Lightly rake in and gently treat seeds into the soil.
  1. Water
  • Water with a fine spray immediately
  • Keep soil consistently moist for the first few weeks.

Aftercare:

  1. ​​​​​​​Mowing
  • First cut when grass reaches 5-8cm.
  • Never remove more than one-third of the grass height at a time
  1. Feeding
  • ​​​​​​​Begin feeding after 12 weeks to maintain a thick, healthy lawn.

  • Keep children and pets off treated areas until grass has grown.
